Staying warm...

Jumper - Topman
Thermal top - M&S mens (here in cream)
Leggings - Topshop tall (here)
Boots - Converse
Sometimes I just want to curl up inside and watch tv with my knitting.  So that's exactly what I'll be doing today.  Here's my Sunday outfit - I got dressed around noon for the sole purpose of going to Lidl to buy some baked goods and maybe some junk food.  They didn't have my favourite bread ready but I got some rolls, a pretzel and a chocolate croissant, one of the best things ever.  I'm slightly going off the pretzels though - I don't eat much salt anyway so they're just a bit much for one sitting...

Predictably I was wearing my new favourite jacket, tights under my leggings and thermals under my jumper - it may only be a five minute walk but my hood was up and I had a quick march on, it was freezing!
What's your winter essentials?  I can't believe I only discovered thermals this year, I can't stop wearing them now!

  1. I've been living in thermals lately! Love this outfit xx

  2. Cosy! This looks like what I pretty much wear every day :) Love your jumper. xx

  3. Yum, Lidl baked goods :) The chocolate croissants are my favourite.

My work provides me with 2 fleeces, one of which is far too big so is great for wearing over my other clothes. Either that or I wear my XL fleece pyjamas over my clothes. I look ridiculous but they keep me warm (And I should probably point out that I only wear them over my clothes when I'm indoors!!)

  4. I have a microwavable Bagpuss 'hottie' that I carry about with me in winter :D xx

  5. I love my thermals, I could not live without them as my works office is freeeeezing from november to april, so I pack on as many layers as humanly possible at this time of the year can barley move some days but I am warm :)

I love your converse by the way, I really need to get myself a new pair but have been putting it off as I can't decide which ones I want next there is just too many to choose from! xx
