#worldcupcraft challenge

Is anyone else joining in with Jenny's knitting/craft challenge?  Her idea was to finish some big knitting using the World Cup as a time marker, and an excuse to get some extra knitting time in!  Now, my obvious problem is that I don't have a working TV, I wouldn't necessarily watch football anyway and that I don't live with Tam, who does watch football but isn't especially obsessive about it.  BUT.  We have been watching a game or two at the weekends (interspersed with films - cause he's nice like that :)) and I made some good progress on my latest blanket then.  I also have the scarf THIS CLOSE to being done, thank god.  I have a cardigan to start next, and another hat for Tam, so I want my two current 'big' projects out the way soon.  Plus I somehow have two teams left out of four in the sweepstakes at work so I may have to start taking an interest in the game soon...

Let me know if you're joining in with the knitting or another crafty thing, I love seeing what other people are making!

  1. I had a dress on the go for a few weeks - a pattern i'd not used before which was really confusing me. I was glad to get that finished at the weekend. I've not yet decided what to make next but have made a few little things for the shop and for my friends. Kindle cases, bags and phone cases.

    1. I like doing some wee things after finishing something big, that's a good plan :)

  2. Love the chevrons - cute colours too! Alas I'v not been keeping up with the football and all my crafting efforts of late have been wedding related rather than one specific thing. But, once that's over, I definitely want to have a go at something chevron-y :)
