Knitting - I'm cheating slightly here since I haven't actually started my latest knitting project yet. Using some of my bargain wool and a pattern from the Vogue Knitting - Caps and Hats book I found in the library, I'm going to attempt a cabled beret. Topped off with a pompom of course. I have enough of this yarn to make myself a matching cardigan, but I'm not sure the light colour is very well suited to me - based on both my colouring and my uncanny ability to only spill food on the clothing that I really don't want to be spilling stuff on.
Reading - I ordered The Versions of Us book at the library as soon as I read Sarah's review (God bless the Glasgow Libraries app!) and it appeared surprisingly quickly. I'm just past the half-way mark and I'm finding it confusing and kind of depressing, so here's hoping it picks up soon... Look at that gorgeous cover design though!
My bookmark was a birthday pressie made by Tam's mum. It has a puffin and my name on it, so no-one can ever steal/borrow it. Mine.
